As we began our journey of learning how to write numbers 1-5, I had the kiddos cut out a number with the cookie cutters. Then, they had to create the number without using the cookie cutter. It helps them learn how to form their numbers. A lot of times they will turn their 3s around and this helps with that. Also, kiddos this age need activities like this to help with their fine motor skills:)
